Yang Ping-ping works in the busy finance industry. On top of the daily pressures of her job, she also bears the responsibility of caring for elderly family members. The physical exhaustion and mental stress made catching colds a frequent occurrence. Along with that came severe redness and swelling across her face, lower-back soreness, and back pain. An old coccyx injury from her youth also caused tingling in her shoulders and back, making it hard for her to sleep. These symptoms followed her for twenty long years.

But Ping-ping is not someone who gives up easily. She continued searching for solutions — trying fitness classes, Tai Chi, Tai Chi sword, yoga, and even Qigong in the park. Yet none of them truly relieved her chronic pain. Naturally shy and quiet, she gradually became even more withdrawn, going out less, avoiding meals with friends and colleagues, and watching the joy slowly fade from her life.

Two years ago, Ping-ping happened to see Master Bai Yin and Master Yin Quan introducing Bai Yin Qigong on television. Out of curiosity, she followed along with the Palm Trembling technique — and to her surprise, she could actually feel the presence of qi. She began searching online for more information, watched videos, and read the book The Magical Palm Trembling Technique. Around that time, she also joined a two-hour trial class.

Carrying only a small glimmer of hope, she arrived at the HarmonyQi class. Unexpectedly, the persistent facial redness from long-term allergies had already subsided significantly by the afternoon of the second day. The coaches, assistants, and volunteers all witnessed it together. What started as a simple trial quickly turned into firm commitment — she immediately signed up for the full EnerQi Dayan Course. The back pain and sleep problems from her old coccyx injury also improved greatly after completing just two days of class.

Later, during the beginner EnerQi course, her lingering cough — which had lasted more than a month — also disappeared. As she practiced, she felt her chest loosen, the phlegm cleared, and before long, the stubborn cough was gone. For Ping-ping, this was undeniable proof of the benefits of Bai Yin Qigong.

After finding a method that truly supports her body, Ping-ping has now been practicing for more than two years. In that time, she has caught a cold fewer than five times — and each time, she used her practices to recover with ease.

From Career Professional to Volunteer — Walking Together and Supporting One Another

After completing six essential courses, Ping-ping’s personality blossomed. She became lively, cheerful, and optimistic — with even a playful spark. Life’s worries and challenges are still there, but now she welcomes them with acceptance and positivity. What once felt bitter no longer feels bitter; what once felt difficult no longer feels difficult.

Deeply moved by the compassion of Masters, instructors, and fellow students, she happily joined the Bai Yin Volunteer Team, hoping to contribute to the Bai Yin family and help spread the light.

She began by gathering her Qigong friends to join the 333 Volunteer Group, organizing small meet-ups, sharing practice experiences, and even creating warm, memorable videos. Later, together with the enthusiastic Sister Yu-Nuan, they became known as the “Shuang-Dong Sisters,” spreading not only cheerful energy but also the love and care of the Bai Yin family.

They help ensure that no one misses important announcements, online classes, practice gatherings, or health tips — so that busy members can stay connected, supported, and motivated. Over time, friendships deepened, unity strengthened, and small practice-and-growth groups naturally formed — all walking steadily forward together.

It Is More Blessed to Give Than to Receive

Ping-ping often says that although it may seem like she is the one connecting everyone, in truth, she is the one who gains the most. Having companions makes the journey more beautiful — and allows you to go farther. She walks with others, and others walk with her.

Learning together, encouraging one another, and moving forward with a shared intention has become a rare and precious life experience for her. Volunteering has also allowed her to develop new skills, such as video editing — preserving beautiful life moments and meaningful Qigong stories as cherished memories.
