Bai Yin’s Quick and Easy Self-Care Tips for Women Over 40

Prevent Breast Lumps and Relieve Discomfort – Learn the Lazy Person’s Self-Care Routine! Bai Yan: Do This More After Middle Age, Simple and Fast Results
Breast Disease: The #1 Enemy for Women!

According to the World Health Organization, 2 million women worldwide are diagnosed with breast disease each year. There are many reasons for lumps and pain in the breasts, especially for women who experience emotional fluctuations. When Qi and blood become stagnant in the chest, it can easily lead to breast hyperplasia or small localized lumps. It is essential to learn how to maintain breast health.

Qi management expert Master Bai Yin states that many women experience noticeable breast tenderness and lumps before their period, sometimes even pain under the armpits or along the ribs. From a Western medicine perspective, premenstrual breast swelling and pain is a normal physiological change caused by hormonal fluctuations and is considered a benign form of breast tissue hyperplasia. However, if the swollen tissue doesn’t completely subside after menstruation, leaving the breasts still painful and lumpy, this is considered pathological, known as fibrocystic breast disease.

High Stress, Depression, and Anxiety Can Easily Lead to Phlegm-Dampness

Traditional Chinese Medicine says: "The Stomach Meridian of the Foot Yangming runs through the chest and is connected to the breasts; the Spleen Meridian spreads across the chest, and the Liver Meridian wraps around the chest and ribs, circulating near the nipple." Breast diseases are most closely related to the Liver and Stomach meridians.

Master Bai Yin points out that when stress levels are high, or when a person is frequently angry, depressed, or anxious, it can exacerbate Liver Qi stagnation. This, in turn, increases breast congestion and pain due to the blockage of Qi and blood. Additionally, women who tend to overthink may experience disruption in the Spleen and Stomach's Qi function, leading to dysfunction in the digestive and metabolic processes, which can generate internal phlegm and dampness. This stagnation of turbid Qi, phlegm, and blood in the chest area over time can result in what is known as breast lumps or fibrocystic breast changes, which Western medicine refers to as fibrocystic breast disease or breast hyperplasia.

3 Types of Breast Lumps and How to Differentiate Them

Master Bai Yin Categorizes Common Breast Lumps into 3 Types:

Fire-Type

Common in people who are easily angered. When Liver Fire rises, it causes Qi to stagnate and flow upwards, leading to Qi stagnation. People who frequently get angry are more likely to develop breast lumps. You may notice pain in the area under the armpits and along the ribs when pressing on the Qi stagnation spots.

Hormonal Type

Changes in hormone secretion due to the menstrual cycle, such as during puberty, menopause, or before and after menstruation, can cause the breasts to become swollen and even tender. If unsure, Teacher Bai Yan suggests going for a medical checkup. Even if it's benign, it's important to have regular follow-up exams.

Unhappy Type

Liver Qi stagnation caused by stress and unhappiness is the main factor. If you often suppress your emotions, bottle up your feelings, and lack an outlet for expression, it can lead to Liver Qi stagnation. In addition, excessive thinking can disrupt the Spleen and Stomach, leading to Qi blockage and the formation of phlegm and dampness, which may eventually result in lumps.

Qi Flow Method for Breast Health

Master Bai Yin emphasizes that women should not only take care of their bodies but also learn how to manage their emotions. This is especially important for middle-aged women, who need to focus on emotional release. Maintaining a positive mood and regular routine is the most crucial self-care practice to prevent breast hyperplasia.

Master Bai Yin recommends the "Qi Flow Technique", which can be practiced daily. This technique helps clear any Qi blockages in the chest. When Qi and blood flow smoothly and circulation is improved, with a peaceful mind, the body's functions will return to normal. After practicing, women often feel relaxed and rejuvenated, noticing less irritability before their period and a reduction in breast tenderness.

Many students who have been practicing regularly not only improve their overall Qi and blood circulation but also address emotional issues. In particular, many middle-aged female students come specifically to learn YoungQi Rejuvenation techniques to boost their vitality and nourish their Qi and blood. By consistently practicing every day, they notice significant improvements in their gynaecological health, with their overall complexion and energy levels visibly improving.
