Hello dear students, I’m Master Bai Yin. Today is the second day of our San Fu online group practice.

What we’re learning today is something you won’t find anywhere else — it’s the distilled essence of my 37 years of teaching experience. Even if you can’t join the group practice, as long as you follow this in-depth guidance and practice at home, you can still master the core principles of “San Fu Summer Practice” and give your body a thorough cleanse.

Yesterday, we talked about how San Fu Days are the golden period for “Treating Winter Illnesses in Summer.” Today, we’ll go one step further and explore how to use this opportunity to tackle two of the most stubborn and damaging enemies to your health: dampness and coldness.

Why the Sweat You Produce During San Fu Days Is Not Like Regular Sweat

Many people think sweating in summer is totally normal. But have you ever wondered why the sweat you produce while practicing Qigong during San Fu Days is drastically different from the sweat that comes from just feeling hot?

Ordinary sweat is mainly a surface-level cooling mechanism. But during San Fu Days, with the combined power of nature’s peak yang energy and Qigong guidance, the sweat you release is forced from deep within — from the joints, the organs, even between the bones.

That’s why many students report that the sweat they experience during San Fu practice is especially sticky, has a stronger odor, or even appears yellowish. These are clear signs that the body is releasing long-standing dampness, toxins, and waste — the best proof of internal cleansing.

This is part of Bai Yin Qigong’s exclusive approach: we don’t just practice movements; we align with seasonal timing. Seizing the opportunity of San Fu Days is like hitting a powerful “accelerate” button for your body’s detox system.

“Cold Trapping Fire”: One of the Most Common Modern Health Imbalances

What defines modern living? We’ve created environments that often go against nature. Summer should be a time for the body to sweat freely and release heat. But instead, we spend our days in air-conditioned rooms. We should be supporting the rise of yang energy, but instead, we flood our organs with cold from iced drinks.

What’s the result? A tricky and harmful body condition known as “cold trapping fire”.

Cold from the outside causes the pores to close, trapping internal dampness and heat inside. Meanwhile, more cold continues to invade the body. This leads to a confusing and unhealthy state of cold on the outside, heat on the inside, with both dampness and stagnation.

People with this condition often feel:

  • Heaviness and fatigue, even after long sleep
  • Oily skin, acne, or eczema
  • Thick tongue coating and a sticky feeling in the mouth
  • Aching joints that worsen on rainy days

These are all classic signs of the cold trapping fire condition.

YoungQi Anti-Aging & Rejuvenation Technique: The Ultimate Practice for Expelling Cold and Damp

To deal with deeply rooted cold and dampness, we need a strong and effective method. Today’s practice — the YoungQi Anti-Aging & Rejuvenation Technique — is the perfect remedy.

One of the core focuses of this technique is detoxification and meridian clearing. In particular, the “Shaking Turbidity” technique is a classic. Though it looks simple — a full-body shaking motion — it’s one of the most effective techniques I’ve seen in 37 years for expelling cold and dampness.

When practicing “Shaking Turbidity” today, I invite you to add this visualization:
Imagine your body is like a soaked, dirty rug — heavy with dust and grime. With every shake, you are vigorously shaking off deep-rooted dampness, hidden coldness, and sticky turbid energy. All of it is being expelled through your open pores and the Yongquan points at the soles of your feet, fully and thoroughly released into the Earth.

When you practice this way, you’re no longer mechanically moving — you’re engaging in a conscious, deep internal cleansing. With the synergy of seasonal timing (Tian), the right environment (Di), and proper guidance (Ren), your practice becomes exponentially more powerful, and your detox more thorough than ever.

Seize San Fu — Gain a Body Free from Burden

If you continue to suppress your body’s natural reactions with air-conditioning and cold drinks during San Fu Days, that cold-damp-turbid qi will only build up deeper — becoming hidden threats to your future health.

On the other hand, if you make the most of these few days through group practice — or by earnestly practicing the YoungQi Anti-Aging & Rejuvenation Technique at home — you’ll feel a noticeable transformation in your body:

  • Lighter Body: As dampness leaves the body, the constant sense of heaviness disappears. You’ll feel lighter, more agile, and free.
  • Better Joint Comfort: Once cold and dampness are cleared from the joints, strange aches and pains ease, and movement becomes smoother.
  • Clearer Skin: With fewer internal toxins, your skin becomes cleaner and more radiant.
  • More Energy: Dampness drains your vital yang energy. By eliminating it, your body preserves and replenishes energy, leaving you feeling revitalized.

These days of San Fu online group practice create a powerful field of energetic resonance. Let’s work together, ride the wave of seasonal timing, and give our bodies the most thorough cleansing — welcoming a lighter, healthier, and more vibrant version of ourselves.

Now, let’s begin today’s YoungQi Anti-Aging & Rejuvenation practice — with the determination to give our body a complete, conscious cleanse.
