Master Bai Yin's Secret to Balancing Hormones and Slowing Down Aging

Avoiding Exercise Can Age Your Ovaries by 5 Years! Master Bai Yin's Simple Method to Regulate Hormones and Delay Aging

Miss Wang, not yet 50, suffered from various gynaecological issues including premenstrual syndrome, menstrual pain, uterine fibroids, and ovarian cysts. Her menstrual cycle had even shortened to just 22 days, and the frequency of her discomfort was increasing. It wasn't until she started practicing Qigong that, after just three months of practice, her pain began to improve. With newfound confidence, she continued practicing diligently every day. Two years later, an ultrasound showed that both her ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids had disappeared, leaving her amazed at how miraculous it was!

Qi management expert Master Bai Yin says, "A woman's source of youth lies in the ovaries. They secrete the most important female hormones, which are the key to maintaining youthful vitality and acting as an anti-aging elixir for women."

3 Harmful Habits That Accelerate Ovarian Aging

After the age of 40, a woman’s ovarian reserve gradually declines, and the ovaries themselves become harder and age. Typically, around the age of 45-50, women begin to face ovarian function decline.

Modern women, under the influence of high stress, poor sleep, lack of exercise, and emotional instability, often experience abnormalities in ovulation and hormone secretion. Many women begin to experience early ovarian aging before the age of 40.

In particular, prolonged sitting, late nights, and poor emotional health are major contributors to accelerated ovarian aging. The most obvious symptom is irregular menstruation. Master Bai Yin reminds that if you notice changes in your menstrual cycle, shorter menstrual duration, or decreased menstrual flow, it could be a sign of early ovarian aging. It’s best to seek further medical examination to check ovarian function.

Ovarian Age Does Not Equal Chronological Age

Master Bai Yin, based on the classic (Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine), explains that women begin to show signs of aging around the age of 35. These signs include rough skin, a "barrel-shaped" waist, a protruding abdomen, irregular menstruation, decreased libido, insomnia, frequent urination, poor digestion, and irritability. In fact, ovarian function starts to decline at this point, with not only a decrease in the number of follicles but also a drop in the quality of eggs.

Although women over 40 may still have menstrual cycles, their chances of conception drastically decrease. By the age of 49, women typically enter menopause and lose their ability to bear children. This shows that while female fertility is related to age, it is more significantly influenced by ovarian reserve.

A woman with youthful ovaries has normal endocrine function, and her aging process will be slower compared to others. In contrast, women with early ovarian aging experience a reduction in hormone secretion, which leads to irregular periods, infertility, and the early onset of menopause symptoms such as insomnia, memory loss, anxiety, irritability, hot flashes, and excessive sweating. These symptoms indicate the decline of various organ functions.

Practicing Qigong to Strengthen the Dantian Energy and Enhance the Ability to Improve Blood Circulation and Break Stasis
Master Bai Yin explains from a Qi theory perspective: "When Qi flows, blood flows." Without the movement of Qi, blood circulation becomes poor, which can lead to blood stasis, causing issues like uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts in women. On the other hand, when Qi and blood circulation improve, the body’s organs receive enough oxygen, allowing the body to maintain strong energy and vitality, much like the state of youth.

Master Bai Yin emphasizes that practicing Qigong stimulates the entire body’s Qi and blood, promoting metabolism, and also strengthens the Dantian, which is a vital energy centre. The uterus and ovaries are located around the Dantian, an area known as the "seat of life" for women, where they nourish their essence and support reproduction. When the Dantian energy is strong, it boosts the body’s vitality and enhances the ability to improve blood circulation and break stasis.

Women need to understand how to regulate their Qi and blood. Regular practice of warming the womb (Warm Palace) can help improve local blood circulation. After just a few minutes of practice, the body starts to feel warm, and the lower abdomen gradually warms up, indicating that blood circulation is improving, and areas of blood stasis are becoming unblocked. Consistent practice helps balance hormones, alleviate menstrual pain, and address other gynaecological issues effectively.
