Improvements to Scoliosis and Bow Legs
My connection with Bai Yin Contemporary Qigong began because of my father, who had stage-five kidney disease. At that time, I had been practicing yoga for over two years and wanted to find a simple yet effective method for bodily detoxification to share with my father. Fortunately, through the online Health 2.0 program "Unlocking Health - Miraculous Palm Trembling in 3 Minutes!", I discovered that simple "palm trembling" movements could reveal internal organ problems, which seemed incredible. I immediately ordered Master Bai Yin's book "Miraculous Palm Trembling Technique," which came with a complimentary 2-hour course.
Aspiring to Learn Hua Tuo's Five Elements Technique
After the trial experience, the instructor continuously encouraged me to start learning the simple "HarmonyQi Stress Relief Technique." On the second day of the HarmonyQi class, during lunch, I was surprised to discover red rashes on my elbows, which amazed me! Additionally, after seeing the instructor and volunteers perform the "LotusQi Heart Nourishing Technique," I spontaneously got goosebumps, and an inner voice told me: "I want to learn this!" Coincidentally, the promotional offer for EnerQi Dayan and LotusQi courses included Hua Tuo's "Five Elements Technique" that I wanted to learn, so I signed up.
While practicing HarmonyQi at home, I initially thought that my yoga-trained legs would be strong enough for squatting exercises. However, the more I practiced HarmonyQi, the more my knees hurt. The pain was so severe that I needed to use both hands to support my thighs to slowly squat down and stand up when using the toilet. Later, I learned from Master Bai Yin's program that this was because "qi" was blocked in my knees. After taking the EnerQi beginner course, the condition gradually improved, although I heard "crack, crack, crack" sounds from my knees during initial practice. Looking back, I tell myself I was fortunate to switch to practicing qigong.

When I advanced to the EnerQi Five Elements Technique, it was even more remarkable. After class that day, I returned home with terrible bad breath. I rushed back to Kaohsiung from Taichung and fell asleep immediately. The next day after work, I was still extremely tired and went to bed early at 8 PM. On the third day, my energy slowly recovered, but in the early morning, whenever I practiced EnerQi techniques, tears, yawns, and runny nose wouldn't stop flowing. After learning the Five Elements Technique, it was even more miraculous—I could easily cough up phlegm (which I couldn't do before no matter how hard I tried).
Initially, after learning EnerQi Dayan, I thought "that's enough" and it should be sufficient. Little did I know that the universe was encouraging me to continue learning. I kept discovering qigong's wonders whenever I was about to stop. After completing the EnerQi intermediate course, I underwent my company's routine health examination and found that my previously declining "glomerular filtration rate" had surged to 98 (out of a maximum of 120, previously only maintained between 78-82). After completing Master Yin Quan's class, my body showed such significant changes within a week that I immediately signed up for the "YoungQi Rejuvenation Technique."
The YoungQi Rejuvenation Technique Brought Unexpected Changes
After practicing YoungQi, I found that my mild scoliosis and slightly bowed legs unexpectedly improved. I didn't realize until after a year of practice that my lower legs had become straighter, with the distance between my calves getting closer. In this year's health check-up X-ray, the scoliosis was hardly visible at any noticeable angle, and even the acne that used to appear on my back is now rarely seen.
I also took the EnerQi Advanced class on the Eight Extraordinary Meridians, which was even more wonderful. One week after completing the online course, I developed rashes all over my body that persisted for a long time. The more I practiced, the redder and itchier I became, until two days after attending the physical class in Taichung, the rashes gradually subsided.
Before attending the Turtle Longevity Technique class, I had a car accident the week prior. The nurse at the hospital told me I would experience joint soreness throughout my body the next day. Surprisingly, it never happened! I was just very hungry every day and tired after work, wanting to sleep. I only felt pain at the wound site, and the redness and swelling disappeared within two days of the accident. I felt nothing else. My wounds healed remarkably fast, leaving my friends and family in disbelief.

1.5 Years of Practice Brings Rejuvenating Results
Now, after a year and a half of practicing qigong, I've discovered that my pants have become loose! I can wear the pants I bought when I was 28 years old again. I'm very happy to be taking small steps toward my younger self. My current goal is to fit into the pants I bought at 18 (size XS) and to have all my grey hair disappear.
