From fearing permanent disability to walking freely—Meiyun’s remarkable transformation
Meiyun once feared she would end up in a wheelchair, unable to work or live independently. Today, she walks freely and comfortably. This remarkable transformation came through the power of Qigong.
She encourages everyone struggling with poor health to give Qigong a try, because it can help you regain your health and rebuild your confidence. Her story proves that as long as you’re willing to make a change, miracles can happen at any time.
A Lifetime of Accidents
Meiyun’s story reads like an action movie filled with accidents and dramatic twists. From childhood to adulthood, she experienced countless traffic incidents, especially involving large trucks.
Growing up near the Gaoping River, sand trucks filled the roads. The elders in her family constantly warned her which roads to avoid.
Of course, as a curious child, forbidden places became the most tempting to explore. Collisions with vehicles happened from time to time. Fortunately, she usually fell onto dirt ground. Although she suffered dislocated arms and legs, she somehow managed to set them back herself. She even once shattered her hand from playing too recklessly, leaving it completely numb for half a year.
When she was younger, her body recovered quickly. She walked confidently with large, energetic strides.
But one day, while crossing the street, everything changed.
The Accident That Changed Everything
A motorcycle making a right turn violently struck her. She was thrown through the air like a baseball. After crashing onto the ground, pain spread throughout her body, and all her old injuries resurfaced simultaneously.
From that day onward, she could no longer lower her head—even that simple movement caused pain in her ears, joints, and eyes. Sitting down and lying down, which should have been restful positions, instead became forms of torture.
The only positions that didn’t hurt were standing or moving. The moment she stopped, the pain became unbearable.
She already had scoliosis and three slipped vertebrae. After this severe traffic accident, the pain became so intense that she could barely sleep each day.
Her fear grew: Would she end up in a wheelchair? Would she lose the ability to continue the meridian therapy work she loved?
The First Hour: An Unexpected Miracle
When Meiyun first stepped into a Qigong class, her expectations were very low. The results far exceeded anything she had imagined.
Within the very first hour, she was able to use the toilet properly.
For someone who previously found even sitting on a toilet difficult, this felt like a miracle.
In the past, squatting down, sitting down, and standing up were all the beginning of pain. However, after practicing Qigong, she was able to squat and stand up with ease. Movements she had been unable to perform for seven or eight years suddenly became possible again.
Not only did she regain temporary comfort—she wanted long-term health. Without hesitation, she immediately enrolled in the YoungQi Rejuvenation course.
YoungQi Rejuvenation: Straightening Her Spine, Reclaiming Her Life
After practicing YoungQi Rejuvenation, Meiyun discovered that movements she had been unable to perform for many years suddenly became easy again.
Her walking speed had slowed so much that it took her an entire hour to walk just two kilometers. After practicing Qigong, she returned to her previous pace—completing the same distance in only twenty minutes.
After just the first day of the YoungQi Rejuvenation class, she noticed her legs had become straighter, and even her scoliosis seemed to miraculously disappear. The result amazed her so deeply that she immediately committed to continuing the practice.
The Transformation:
- From being unable to walk properly to moving around freely and comfortably
- Lost 13 kilograms in weight
- Regained body balance
- Right foot returned to proper alignment
- Muscles gradually strengthened again
Meiyun uses the words “relaxed and light” to describe her condition now. Her spine became upright again, and she was once more able to walk freely. The difficulties that once filled her with despair have all faded into the past.
It’s Okay to Fall—What Matters Is How You Rise
Meiyun’s story tells us that falling in life is inevitable. What matters most is how we rise again.
No matter how difficult the past may have been, once you find the right method, you can regain a new life. For her, Qigong is not merely a form of exercise—it’s a way of life that helped her rediscover health and confidence.
Before learning Qigong, Meiyun was filled with fear about the future. She worried she would eventually become confined to a wheelchair and would no longer be able to continue working.
Qigong gave her new hope.
From being unable to sit without pain to squatting with ease. From taking an hour to walk two kilometers to completing it in twenty minutes. From fearing a wheelchair to walking freely and confidently.
Health Won’t Wait for You—But You Can Change Yourself
If you’re struggling with chronic pain, limited mobility, or the fear that your condition will only worsen, Meiyun’s story offers an important message:
Transformation is possible. Sometimes in the very first hour.
The question is: Are you willing to give yourself that chance?
Meiyun continues to practice Qigong daily and has returned to her meridian therapy work with renewed strength and confidence.
