How She Overcame Chronic Back Pain with This Unique Practice
Over twenty years ago, Shu Yun built her own simple, ordinary family. While life wasn't wealthy, it was peacefully content. However, after her husband suffered a severe workplace accident that left him unable to work, the entire financial burden of supporting the household fell on her shoulders. She worked as a cleaner during the day and ran a night market stall until late evening, often not getting home until well past midnight. By the time she returned, she was completely exhausted—too tired even to speak.
Working Day and Night: Illness Was Inevitable
After eight years of this gruelling lifestyle, her overworked body began sending desperate distress signals.
Her legs could no longer endure prolonged standing or squatting. She suffered from back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain—until her entire body ached. Each type of pain felt "excruciating" and "bone-deep."
Her work as a cleaner exposed her to long-term inhalation of chemical fumes, leading to severe bronchitis. Irregular eating schedules caused gastritis, and the overwhelming stress of her situation triggered depression and uterine fibroids.
"Maybe seeing a doctor and taking medication will help?" Shu Yun hoped desperately.
Taking pills became her daily routine, but the side effects made her body bloated and overweight, her complexion dull and sallow, and her temper increasingly short. She would frequently lose her temper and snap at her children, causing her relationships with family members to deteriorate severely.
"Less Pain Means No More Forcing Myself Through Life"
Three years ago, Shu Yun received a message from her benefactor, Sister Shuyi, about a lecture by Master Bai Yin. Seizing the opportunity during her limited free time, she attended a qigong introductory session. After the presentation, she immediately signed up for the beginner's course, "HarmonyQi Stress Relief Technique." She thought to herself, "Since I've paid the tuition, I'd better practice seriously."
She diligently practiced the HarmonyQi method seven rounds every day. After just two weeks, she noticed the pain in her knees and lower back gradually diminishing. She was amazed at how quickly it worked, which strengthened her confidence in Bai Yin Qigong. Determined to continue, she enrolled in the systematic course "YoungQi Rejuvenation Technique."
However, her initial experience with YoungQi techniques was brutal. The pain in her lumbar spine flared up again, feeling as if her bones had been severed in two. Every movement sent excruciating pain shooting through her body.
Whenever she felt like giving up, the encouraging voices of her instructors and fellow practitioners echoed in her ears: "Shu Yun, hang in there! You can do it!"
Then, on the ninth day, something miraculous happened. Around 6 a.m., while practicing YoungQi, she suddenly heard distinct "click, click, click" sounds traveling up her spine from bottom to top. By the time she finished her practice, it felt as if her spine had been "realigned and restored to its proper position." From that moment forward, her lower back pain completely disappeared—she could even stand up effortlessly after squatting for extended periods without needing any assistance!
Crossing Oceans to Learn Qigong
Just one month after completing YoungQi, she stopped taking medication for bronchitis—with no relapse whatsoever. Her complexion improved dramatically, and she became increasingly cheerful and optimistic.
Noticing the transformation, her eldest son told her, "Mom, this qigong has really helped you. You must keep practicing!" So, at the end of 2018, she flew to Hong Kong to learn EnerQi Dayan.
Since beginning her qigong journey, her body, mind, and spirit underwent profound transformation. In just one month, her weight dropped from 59 kg to 52 kg, and she was able to discontinue medication for many of her previous ailments. Not only did she regain her health and confidence, but her personality also changed dramatically.
With a radiant smile, she said, "In the past, I didn't even know what it meant to smile. Now, I'm a cheerful person who loves to laugh!"
Diligent Qigong Practice Builds an "Iron Shield"—Creating Superhuman Recovery Power
In August 2019, Shu Yun accidentally consumed a health supplement containing estrogen, which caused her uterine fibroids to worsen severely, necessitating a hysterectomy.
Thanks to her consistent qigong practice, her post-surgical recovery was much faster than average—she was able to return to work just three months later.
Unfortunately, six months after that, due to overwork and emotional stress, she suffered a mild stroke. Despite receiving combined traditional Chinese and Western medical treatments, she was left with slurred speech, weak limbs, and an inability to care for herself.
Power of "Palm Trembling"—A Miraculous Recovery
Even when she couldn't stand after the stroke, Shu Yun persisted in practicing "Palm Trembling whenever she could sit or lie down. Remarkably, this simple movement enabled her to stand again within just two weeks!
She progressed to practicing 3-5 rounds of HarmonyQi daily, and by the third week, she was strong enough to resume EnerQi and YoungQi.
One lingering effect of her stroke was "cataplexy" (sudden muscle weakness episodes), but the energy accumulated from her qigong practice helped her body recover remarkably well. Her blood pressure stabilized without medication, and she only needed to take two blood-thinning pills and half a cholesterol pill daily.
During her year-end medical check-up, even her neurologist was amazed—her recovery was nothing short of miraculous!
This Lightning-Fast Recovery Stems from One Unshakable Belief:
"I must keep practicing because I know that as long as I persist in qigong, my illness will definitely heal!"
Practicing Qigong is Like a "Little Piggy Bank"—Depositing Coins Day by Day
Filled with profound gratitude, Shu Yun wants to express her deepest thanks to her guardian angels.
Throughout her three-year journey, she has been embraced by the boundless love and warmth of the Bai Yin Qigong family—especially Master Bai Yin and Master Yin Quan, her three key supporters, and all the instructors, assistants, and fellow practitioners who selflessly guided and encouraged her. "It's because of all of you that I wasn't defeated by fate," she says.
Her qigong practice follows three unwavering principles:
"Qigong is like a little piggy bank," she reflects. "You deposit a little effort every day, and gradually it becomes heavier and more valuable. Health isn't something you 'collect' overnight—it's something you 'accumulate'!"
