EnerQi Dayan originates from the secret teachings of the Daoist Kunlun School, dating back over two thousand years. But why is it called EnerQi Dayan? The Dayan holds the record for the highest-flying altitude among birds. It can reach an altitude of 9,000 feet, soaring over the Himalayas, where the temperature is extremely low and the air is very thin. The oxygen levels at that altitude are even lower than at sea level.

From many videos of the Dayan, we can observe that its body is only about knee-high to humans. Its small heart sustains long-distance flights at 9,000 feet. After a day of strenuous flying, the Dayan shows no signs of being out of breath, indicating its exceptionally strong heart and lung function.

If your hands and feet are often cold, it could be a sign of poor peripheral circulation. Such individuals should pay special attention to potential underlying cardiovascular problems. In our hands, we have six meridians, known as the "Hand Three Yin" and "Hand Three Yang." Master Yin Quan teaches us to open both hands like wings, mimicking the Dayan's use of the spine to move its wings while flying. This is because, when flying, the spine moves, and the internal organs are also engaged. This helps the circulation of Qi and blood, and unblocks the meridians in our body. The Huangdi Neijing (Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic) states: "The liver opens to the eyes." If liver function is poor, or if there is fatty liver, abnormal liver enzyme levels, sleep disturbances, frequent bad breath, emotional instability, irritability, dry eyes, and other symptoms, these are all related to liver Qi.
